It was recognised early on that carrier bags are not only important for transporting goods home for the customer, but through the numerous possibilities of printing, are above all the ideal advertising medium for the retailer himself.

Over the course of time, there have been a number of trends in the bag sector. For a long time, the foil carrier bag was the first choice, but it has now been superseded by the paper carrier bag. Nowadays, however, permanent carrier bags made of cotton, jute, polyester and the various types of woven are at the top of the trend.
